Walking with Sydney

Alright, today marks our very first installment of “Tails from the Trails,” where we highlight some of our clients and their walks. Today we’ll be walking with Sydney, a mini australian shepherd-collie mix.

I first met Sydney when she was only about four months old, and hardly bigger than a loaf of bread. Last week, I was surprised by how much bigger she’d gotten!

Good girl! She brings the ball right back

We got to play some fetch in her yard as a warm-up before going on our walk.  Sydney was very good about bringing the ball back and dropping it for me.  Some dogs, like my own, Gordy, just love the ball too much to give up every time, but Sydney was excited enough about fetching it again http://premier-pharmacy.com/product/xenical/ that she usually dropped it right away.

Sydney relaxes in the sand

On the walk, Sydney really enjoyed picking up large pine cones in her mouth, but was good about dropping them when I told her to. We spent a few minutes enjoying the grass and stretching out in the sand before walking back.

Once home, Sydney quickly picked up her rope toy and made it clear that it was time for a game of tug-of-war, and then another, just to prove her first win wasn’t a fluke.  That settled, it was time for her to get her kong (complete with a special treat inside) and to relax in her kennel, and time for me to leave.  Until the next time, Sydney!

Stay tuned for more Tails from the Trails next week!
